Electro Music Production
Here is a collection of production notes and behind the scenes studio videos for various releases, for those who are into production. Usually it starts with a jam session in the studio, or sometimes with a blank DAW project. My approach is always hybrid — the final arrangement and mixdown usually takes place in Ableton Live.
I’m not DAW-less by any means.
I switch between hardware and DAW all the time. I started making beats with computers a long time ago on a 386 PC + 8-bit soundcard, long before i had any hardware. Electro production ITB is no problem and with modern signal processing our 40 year old drum machines hit harder than ever before. I started to do mastering in Reaper a while ago, as i’m a workflow nerd and the scripting in reaper is great.
Feel free to ask tech and music questions on Youtube.
